Fender Stratocaster 1981 - Black
Nice example weighing in at 8 pounds and 5.3 ounces (3.78 kilograms for out lovely non-American friends), this 1981 Fender Strat is a true classic. Its very form fitting "C" shaped neck gives it almost a "D" shaped feel, but with a slight vintage Fender touch. This guitar feels smooth to play, and if you're not careful, it might even play you. A classic black Strat with classic playability and tone.Somewhere in this guitar's life someone attempted to convert it to a Lefty "Hendrix" style guitar. It has since been switched back to its original configuration, but the nut slots on the 1st-3rd strings are a little bit wider/deeper than one would expect. In addition, the pick guard has in fact done its job guarding what appears to have been a little bit more abrasive than a pick. Other than that and a couple of nicks and dings primarily on the front of the body, this guitar is sure to blow your socks off and politely offer to put them back on after it does so.
