1963 Fender Stratocaster Candy Apple Red

Collector clean 63 Stratocaster in Candy Apple. No excuses. Condition is a strong 9/10 with only the usual chips around the edges which is almost a given with Candy Apple Fenders. Neck is medium/chunky-a typical 63-which is why 63's are so popular. Fairly slim at the first fret at .81" but close to a an inch at the 12th (.99"). Pickups are black bottom and read B6.51K, M5.90K N6.50K. The finish is vibrant and shines like new. It is red over silver base coat which I think is the more attractive of the Fender Candy Apple finishes (other is red over gold). I am told that the pickguard was replaced with a vintage guard from another 63. Everything else is original. Weight is 7.5 pounds. Brown case is probably original.
