Description

1969 Fender Stratocaster Olympic White Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #257193. This is a 1969 Fender Stratocaster in its original Olympic White custom color finish. The finish has naturally aged, with a yellowing clear coat, adding to its vintage character. The neck date reads 22 JAN 69 B, and the original grey bottom pickups and tone pots date back to early 1966. The pickup and control cavity are coated with black shielding paint. The body has a rout between the neck pocket and neck pickup cavity, likely for truss rod adjustment access. The volume pot has been replaced, and some of the wiring has been changed, featuring a mix of plastic and cloth wire, with braided shield wire running to the jack. The pickguard is white with a pearloid underside. This guitar has been professionally refretted, showing minimal playwear. The neck pocket may have been sanded, but the paint stick mark remains intact. Dings, scuffs, and scrapes are present. The tremolo arm is missing. 7.2lbs. Original hard case included. Condition: Fair. The BeatHaven Collection HID05201242017 © 2024 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
