*Sold on behalf of a deceased estate. The deceased was a good friend of Ric Grech of Blind Faith, and acquired this bass from him, circa 1975. When the owner took on the bass, it had a very amateur matt white finish, which was subsequently stripped and re-lacquered in natural. The bass is referenced in the book 'Fender Bass for Britain' by Barry Matthews, page 12, where it states 'Bass sold to Ric Grech of Blind Faith'. A statement of provenance, handwritten by the deceased is included in the sale.
