1969-70 Mustang Competition Bass Red Candy Apple Red w/ Original Hard Shell Fender Case
This is a beautiful Mustang Competition Bass with matching painted headstock.
It weighs only 7.9 lbs. The pickups are original as well as the pots which are dated 137-7039 (39th week on 1970). Plays very well and sounds great.
The neck is dated 1969.
Small hairline split on back of headstock. May just be in finish. Does not affect the play of the instrument. There are some extra screw holes underneath the guard from a previous pick guard.
Comes with the Original Fender Mustang Bass Case in good condition. Someone wrote Fender on it. Both main latches work. (Please see photos and ask questions if you got them).
