Heritage is the latest addition to the Fender Made In Japan lineup, following the Traditional and Hybrid series.
This series is produced under the supervision of Mark Kendrik, former master builder of Fender Custom Shop, who boasts a deep knowledge of vintage.
This model, made in 2024, is a 50s spec model with an alder body, one-piece maple neck, and an anodized pickguard.
The body has been refinished in a light Shell Pink color, and the truss rod nut at the neck end has been modified with a wheel nut.
The body counterbore has been extended accordingly so that the truss rod can be adjusted without removing the neck.
It has a pleasant attack with a bouncy attack focused on the mid-high range and a thick bass range, and has a balanced feel that can be played with a pick or fingerpicked for a sweeter sound!
