Description

Here is a 1997 Fender Artist Series Jimi Hendrix Tribute Stratocaster. Besides his insane talent many people have said part of Hendrix's sound was a result of using Right Handed Stratocasters upside down strung Left Handed. In 1997 Fender created a Stratocaster to give the Right Handed Player this unique reverse feel. The Stratocaster is based on Hendrix's famous 1969 Olympic White Stratocaster used at Woodstock and features a Maple Cap Neck, Bold Synchronized Tremolo Headstock Logo, and Vintage Saddles on a Reverse Tremolo. The Fingerboard has some attractive Maple Figuring. An extra strap button hole on the treble side horn has been filled and a new nut. Otherwise, it is a nice clean and tidy Very Good Plus Condition guitar displaying only light use. Included is the Black Tolex Original Hardshell Case. The push buttons for the case locks have been removed and are included (not sure if they can be reattached). Also included is the Original Inspection Hang Tag, White Coil Cord, and Tremolo Arm. A nice example of Fender's Limited Edition Hendrix Tribute Strat.
