Fender Japan was established in 1982, but the name "Fender Japan" disappeared in 2015 due to a change of distributor.
Fender Japan is still producing high quality instruments as MIJ (Made In Japan) series at the original Fender, but Fender Japan has gained a high reputation as Japan Vintage and is popular both in Japan and overseas.
This PB-STD, which has realized a low price by cutting costs, is made of basswood body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
The pickups have been upgraded to Seymour Duncan SPB-2s for a powerful midrange and sharp grain!
