Fender Custom Shop 2013 Total Tone 1963 Stratocaster Relic
This is a "1963 Stratocaster Relic" model from the "Total Tone" series, made to order by the American music shop "Pro Guitar Shop".
Based on a 1963 spec with a round laminated rosewood fingerboard, the relatively light relic process reproduces weather checks and peeling paintwork, giving it a moderately used vintage look.
The neck is a slightly slim Oval C shape with a 9.5 radius fingerboard and 6105 frets for a modern style.
The pickups are "Lineage Black Pickups”, specially made for this series, with a slightly lower output and flatter EQ than the usual 60s type pickups.
The frets are very lightly worn on the plain strings in the low position, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
