This is the signature model of Michael Landau, a highly respected studio and session musician.
The model is based on his 1968 Stratocaster with a round laminated rosewood fretboard and large head, etc. The body has been boldly relic processed to reproduce weather checks and large paint peeling.
The neck has a unique asymmetrical shape taken from his 1968 Stratocaster, and the back of the neck is satin finished with the stripped paint.
The guitar has narrow tall type frets, the fingerboard has a 7.25 radius and the pickups are hand-wound Fat 50s, signed "BP".
There is almost no fret wear, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
