Fender Custom Shop 2022 Limited 1951 Telecaster Super Heavy Relic
This is an Aged Natural Finish "1951 Telecaster Super Heavy Relic" model that was produced in a limited run as part of the 2020 Winter Limited Edition.
This special edition model is equipped with shield-mounted front humbucker, and features an ultra-thin "Journeyman Relic Flash Coat Lacquer" finish without the final buffing, as well as a very bold relic finish that reproduces peeling and melted paint.
The body is made of offset 2-piece Ash, the neck is a slightly thicker 10/56 "V" shape, and the 7.25-9.5R compound radius fingerboard has 6105 frets, all designed for better playability.
The pickups are a Seymour Duncan SH-55n Seth Lover on the neck humbucker and a hand-wound Crushed Blackguard Tele signed "UC" on the bridge.
There is almost no fret wear, and no problems with the neck or truss rod.
