2018 Fender Custom Shop '63 Telecaster Heavy Relic
Heavy relic in heavily-faded Lake Placid Blue, made of very light ash it weighs a mere 6.5 pounds. Quartersawn neck (for strength), rosewood board sorted for best dark color. Wonderful flat-pole Broadcaster bridge pickup and Twisted Tele neck pickup. Compound 9.5” to 12” radius for easier bending, oval “C” shape. We remember this guitar very well. Teles this light and this resonant rarely get past the guitar-hungry employees. Comes with COA signed by C.W. Fleming and the shop floor traveller spec sheet. Fantastic example.
