Fender Custom Shop 2021 1967 Stratocaster Heavy Relic
1967 Stratocaster Heavy Relic" model in aged vintage white finish with rounded rosewood fingerboard.
It features a transition logo, large head, and Kluson tuners all reproduced as they were in 1967.
The boldly stripped neck grip and body paint, detailed weather checks, scratches on the body edge, and tarnished metal parts all show the look of having been played for many years through the bold relic process.
The neck grip is a slightly thicker 1966 Oval "C" shape compared to the '60 models, and the dark shade rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5 radius with narrow-tall type frets.
All pickups are hand-wound with "BP" signature, '69s on the neck, Fat 60s in the center, and Texas Special is installed in the bridge, and it has a "Vintage Mod. Wiring #2" with an independent capacitor dedicated to the bridge position. (the bridge position has a shallow tone effect.)
The frets are not worn, and the neck and truss rod are in good working order.
