Fender Custom Shop 2024 1954 Limited Edition 70th Anniversary Stratocaster Heavy Relic
This "1954 Stratocaster Heavy Relic" model was produced to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Stratocaster.
Offset 2-piece ash body, slightly thicker soft V-shape taken from the "July 1954" neck, wide faded 2-tone sunburst color with thicker outer edges, serialized back panel, rounded pickup cover, knobs unique to this era, etc, The 1954 specs have been reproduced.
The back of the neck and body have a Super Heavy Relic finish with large paint chips, weather checks, tarnished metal parts, etc., that have been boldly reproduced through the aging process.
The 7.25R-9.5R compound radius fingerboard and medium vintage frets are designed for playability.
The pickups are hand-wound '54 Single Coil Strat signed "EP".
The guitar is in excellent condition with almost no signs of wear. The frets are almost completely intact and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
