This 1963 Fender Bandmaster 6G7-A features the highly desirable white tolex with wheat grille cloth and the original “blonde” era circuitry. This legendary 40-watt piggyback head delivers rich, sparkling cleans and harmonically complex breakup thanks to its 6L6 power tubes, tube rectifier, and lush onboard tube-driven tremolo. Known for its dynamic response and stage-worthy tone, the Bandmaster 6G7-A remains a favorite among surf, blues, and rock guitarists.

The transformers in the amp are original, all dating to 1963.

The power tubes and two of the preamp tubes are vintage, US made GEs and RCAs.  The rest are recent JJ tubes.  All were tested to make sure they have life left for you to enjoy.

The amp has been professionally serviced, which saves you a bunch of hassle and a chunk of cash as well.  The filter caps were recently updated.  A grounded power cable was installed.  The bypass and bias caps were also replaced.  These changes don't affect the vintage tone of the amp - they allow the amp to run correctly and reliably.

We cleaned the chassis and cab, the pots and tube sockets too.

This amp is ready to rock!

Shipping policy:
When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping.  These cases result in multiple box shipments, and they require the buyer to do some assembly on delivery.  We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure.  Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently.  Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping.  We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
