This Epiphone Coronet from 1962 is probably my favorite guitar in the shop right now. I was walking around the other day, playing it unplugged and you could hear it ring - it is so lively and resonant. Today I plugged into an Amplified Nation amp, a brown Fender Super, and a 1964 Vox AC30, new amps that will hit the site soon. The guitar simply rips.

The guitar is original with the exception of the frets. A pro refret was performed at some time, apparently recently because they are in excellent shape. The frets are larger than the stock ones for sure. I think it adds to the playability on this particular axe.

There are no breaks, cracks, repairs or any changes to the parts or electronics. The pickup mows down! The original hang tag is included.

If you know Coronets, you know that this is an early, desirable version. The symmetrical, double cutaway body and 3-per-side headstock are features that lasted in this configuration for just two years.

If you like light guitars, this is the one for you - it weighs in at just over 6 pounds!

The hardshell case - it is of the period but I believe the original is a shaped case.
