Presenting the Duesenberg Fairytale Lap Steel, this one in their Catalina Harbor Green finish. When Duesenberg introduced the Pomona lapsteel in 2008, it was a sensation! For the very first time there was a lapsteel that had the best elements of a lap- and pedalsteel all rolled into one. The Fairytale Lap Steel improves on this legendary design with the newest generation of the Duesenberg Multibender, the improved integrated capodaster, and a new pickup combination with the new Domino SingleTwin P90 anti-hum single coil and their Grand Vintage Humbucker. THE MULTIBENDER The Multibender is an integrated string bending device that can be configured to do a number of different things. It is used for bending specific strings up or down a semi- or full tone, all done with the heel of your hand while playing. This comes in handy for changing chords from minor to major or all kinds of other intervals. The Multibender takes up to five levers (additional levers available seperately, includes two from the factory) which can all be set up to do different things. INTEGRATED CAPODASTER The integrated Easy-Shift Capodaster makes key changes a breeze. Just loosen the thumbscrew on top of the Capo, place it wherever you need it on the fretboard and tighten the screw again. The Easy-Shift Capo runs on a rail inside the fretboard so that losing or misplacing it is impossible. KNOW YOUR TONE With the Domino delivering a warm and fat tone and the GrandVintage taking care of the cutting leads you are well set for everything that might come your way. For easy to do tone swells, Duesenberg has also fitted the Fairytale with their special short range speed pot that works on a 70° angle. Standard factory-set tuning is D A D F# A D. We ship most any order placed before 3pm CDT Tuesday through Friday the same day. Orders placed Saturday-Monday will ship the following Tuesday. For new products we will only ship to delivery addresses within the United States. Most pedals are shipped via Priority Mail. Guitars and Amplifiers are shipped via UPS Ground. Other shipping methods are available. Please contact prior to placing your order for shipping cost quotations to your delivery address.
The Guitar Sanctuary does accept returned items as long as arrangements are made for such within 48 hours of purchase/receipt. Returned items MUST be in the original condition and packing (including owner’s manual, un-used warranty card, any other items that came with the item) in order to qualify for a refund. No refunds are available for “special” ordered guitars or amplifiers (items that were not in stock, but rather ordered per the customers request. The customer is responsible for all freight charges and credit card processing fees incurred in the course of the sale. We cannot refund freight charges. The Guitar Sanctuary will charge a 20% restocking fee for returned effects pedals and amplifiers and a 10% restocking fee for Guitars. The only exceptions are for products that are defective. Please only purchase an item after you are certain it is right for you! Layaway: You can lay-a-way any product for a maximum of three months. Lay-a-way requires a 25% non-refundable deposit. We will not be able to ship the item until it is paid for in full and as a lay-a-way purchase, does not qualify for the 48 hour approval policy. International Sales: We can ship most guitars and other products internationally. We prefer money orders, cashier’s checks, or bank wire transfers in U.S. dollars.
