Description

Rebound is a Multi-Program Delay. it features an expression pedal input, tap tempo, dedicated Left and Right output, Brake controls, a hold feature (Float), and 8 stand-alone delay programs. The Preset switching system allows you to cycle through banks completely hands free. Between its expressive controls and wide array of delay programs, you can freely create delay sounds that will inspire you. It can be your main delay effect that lives at the heart of your pedal board, or it can be used with other delays to add new texture and expression to your favorite sounds. When we began engineering this product, we took into consideration that every player uses delay differently. Because of this, it excels at creating classic delay sounds as well as experimental soundscapes for ambient exploration. Regardless of how you use delay, this pedal makes it simple and exciting to create sound with.

REBOUND'S PROGRAMS:

  1. MOD - ANALOG: Reminiscent of classic modulated delays, this may be the prettiest sounding program in the pedal. Warm analog delay with a controllable depth of modulation that varies from smooth chorus to throbbing vibrato. It is sure to send you into a dreamy state of swirly cascading delay lines that gets better with every repeat!
  2. TAPE: Every multi-delay must have a solid tape delay, and the Rebound is no exception. Control the age/tone of the tape to find the perfect vintage sweet spot. This program shines at creating beds of warm delays trails that feel organically saturated. The brake controls work incredibly well with this program, for example; Braking Down simulates pushing your finger down onto a tape reel; it will slow the tape speed down until it mechanically fails.
  3. DIGI-PONG: This program sounds best when used in stereo. As it ping pongs back and forth between two speakers, it will create movement that is out of this world. It also might descend into madness... but that is a risk we are willing to take. In mono it creates a punchy repeats that builds into impressive rhythms.
  4. Dual: Manipulate two different delay times to create interesting poly-rhythms, or simply use one delay time to add a bit of ambience to your main delay. This program is a blank canvas ripe with tweakability. In stereo, it reacts similarly to DIGI-PONG (without the descent into madness part).
  5. REVERSE: This program is great for creating swelling pads. You can control the pitch of the repeats, creating deep brooding bass or shimmery atmospheric pads. The lower the pitch, the longer the delay times can be. This is a unique take on reverse delay and it sure is inspiring.
  6. DUCKING: Sometimes you desire ambient trails but you don't want your initial attack to be muddied up by the delayed signal. This program allows you to "duck" the initial delay behind the notes so that you can keep your attack nice and smooth. This is great for keeping your tone controlled and clear while still achieving a beautiful decay. It might sound a little complex, but it feels natural and helps you to stay "so fresh and so clean!"
  7. PITCH: A dedicated pitch delay that is great for experimental sounds. Used in conjuction with the Brake controls, you can create wild sound effects. Lower pitches sound like menacing regenerations of impending doom, while higher pitches sound like chimey specs of cosmic dust.
  8. SPACE: "I want a pedal that makes me sound spacey." -If you have ever worked in a music store or at the International Space Station, chances are you heard someone say something like this.  SPACE is a filtered delay that is warm and gooey. Sometimes it sounds like you have a phaser going without the big sweeps. It is a hard effect to define, but chances are you won't be able to stop playing it. If you want to be an astronaut when you grow up, you'll want to extensively explore this program.
