Bay Area Vintage Guitars is thrilled to offer this one-of-a-kind 1979 CSE-7 double-cutaway mahogany body in a stunning Tabacco sunburst finish. This unique guitar, a fusion of a telecaster and a Les Paul Jr., boasts a maple neck and a thick maple cap fretboard. Conn Guitars were built to Conn's design standards by contract manufacturers in Japan.
At the heart of the CSE-7s electronics is a variable pre-amplifier, which, when coupled with the high-output exposed coil humbucking pickup, produces one of the hottest tones and sounds available in the guitar style. Switching allows operation with or without the pre-amp, with single- or dual-coil modes.
It also has a brass bridge, string-through-body bridge, mini Grover tuners, and a brass nut and bridge plate. This guitar sounds fantastic!
The fretboard shows normal wear (see pictures), and the front, sides, and back show only light scratches and some nicks and dings. The brass nut and bridge plate show nice patina.
