The prototype of this tube-type overdrive designed by B.K. Butler was created in the late 1970s, and an updated version was released by Chandler in 1985. The sound of the early model is very fine and soft, unlike the later models from around 1988 and the Tube Woks models, which have a coarser knob. It is rich in overtones and can be driven hard while maintaining a surprisingly natural texture. The HI and LO E.Q. with a wide variable range allows for a wide range of sound creation. One 12AX7A tube is installed. This model is a very rare one as it is rarely seen in the used market in recent years. The sound and condition are excellent!
